ins and outs of great websites

Interactive design. Great site planning tools and tips.

Fine. So you want a website. How do you TELL us what you have in mind. Mockups? Sitemap?

Before you start thinking what it should look like it’s a good idea to ask yourself what should it do? And Why?

You may also have an idea of pages you want. Well, that’s great - after all somebody must draw a sitemap. If you have a clear idea of where to start you might do it yourself. First have a look here. This is probably the simplest yet most human-friendly way of representing a sitemap. I guess most people have at least heard of mind maps. They are easy to understand and easy to draw. You can do it with pen and paper, scan and send us or you can download this FREE mindmapping software (FreeMind) and create XML files that can be rendered online. Much easier.
